Yoga Therapy 

This is a great companion alongside Life Coaching. With these yoga classes you receive full mind and body wellness in full force! They will leave you feeling refreshed, revived, relaxed and in a good clear head space. Coaching is for mental strength and seeing new perspectives, so to add giving ourselves time to reflect for a whole hour while moving our body also allows the mind to adapt to principles given to us in Yoga that are easily applied for happy healthy lives. 

Yoga is more than just the movements. The myths that we have to be the bendy, flexible and on a beach is just good marketing tools for Social Media. Not Yoga in its true honour. So if you are new, fear not!

Yin Yoga

Wonderful way to release muscular tension as well as increase flexibility through deep, longer held stretches.

This style of Yoga will challenge your body and mind as we hold complete stillness in a stretch. We hold each stretch for a few minutes to help the physical body be more mobile and flexible through to the connective tissue. The additional benefit from stillness is teaching the mind to calm to a quiet and peaceful state.

Emotions can shift, inflammation and fatigue can be released. What wonderful results!

Welcome to use props for some stretches and is suggested to wear a long sleeve top in cooler months to stay warm. Yin is the cool, Yang is the warm-hot sides of Yoga styles. Benefits everyone. 

Vinyasa Flow & Yoga Therapy

Yoga is NOT only about the poses themselves. Its is so much more than that. This class teaches the Yoga in entirety, how to bring healthy thinking and actions into your life as well as movement benefits. Sequences that flow and by learning a sequence and repeating it to create heat, release tension, increase flexibility and mobility as well as free the mind of heavy thoughts. 

Breath work is essential and so we spend time using techniques to shift mind and body beautifully. Some classes will have standing or floor based with also. This combination makes a joyful experience with a short meditation at the end. 

Generally no props are used in this class. Wearing something freely moving without being too baggy to compromise any comfort as you move through class.

Ashtanga

Simply strong. A more advanced class that is so wonderfully created and set in class structure. There are 30-90 minute formats. Fully optional for inclusive attendance.

Moving through the sequences on repeat allows the body to recognise positive change with increase of strength and flexibility. Patience is gained by the challenge as well as mind control, strengthening concentration and focus skills.

Warm up flow and then standing or seated postures for the full Ashtanga experience. The structure will always be the same, just different lengths of class. Breath work is your timer to and within each movement. Props are suggested, a Yoga strap and blocks can help.

Meditation - Yoga Nidra

Known as Cosmic sleep. The benefits of this ancient method and known philosophy of Nidra Meditation is priceless! This will give you an experience of deep sleep in the physical body and complete relaxation in the mind. It is quite remarkable. The mind and body can recover the same benefits as 4 hours sleep, in just 45 minutes! Use it to recharge or release stress to sleep better.   

The sequence is set within the 5 layers of Yoga Kosha's and this proven structure offers you to either restart fresh for the busy day or drift into deep relaxation to send you off to sleep. You chose how you want the meditation to best serve you by using a Sankalpa / mantra which is focusing on 'I AM' then you create the detail personal to your desires. In re-wording the thoughts you have will make a real impact to the way you think, act and feel. Totally worth a try, remarkable results. 

Meditation - Mind Release (Relaxation) 

A wide variety of meditations are available from 10 minutes to 1 hour. Some ask you to be seated and others laying or simply relaxing in a comfortable soft chair.

The aim is to gain mind control. De-clutter the noise and find ways to concentrate, relax and calm the inner mind and energy. Feel less worry and even grow in the mental habits of talking down on yourself with low self-esteem and the harmful language used in our private minds. 

Recommend you have a  cushion to sit on (or blankets to lay with) and wearing comfortable clothes. A quiet space undisturbed for complete release and concentration is required for the best experience. We work with Chakra energy, overthinking release techniques as well as  body relaxation and breath work.

Mantras and Mudras are a choice that you can make on the day.
